- QWhat made you come to Japan?
- AMy primary reason was to live with my girlfriend. Besides this, I think many companies in Japan are very good at making electronic products. When I was a child, I got a Walkman made by Sony, and happily went about my life listening to music every day. Ever since then, I was always interested in Japan, and I came to Japan for the first time in 2013. At that time, I thought, “Japan is amazing!” I finally moved to Japan in 2016.
- QYour impressions after actually coming to Japan and living here
- AJapan is a very interesting country and I think Japanese food is the best. Besides this, Japanese convenience stores are open 24 hours and you can buy various items there, so I think it’s very convenient. You can go anywhere in Japan by train, and the convenience stores are always open, plus the people are kind, so it’s very easy to live here.
- QWhat you felt most strongly when you tried working in Japan
- AAll of my work colleagues seem to be interested in Sweden. They are always kind. And I love going to drinking parties with them.
- QHow do you feel about other GIT members and what do you think about being a member of this group?
- AI think the GIT members a great. Everyone is in the same situation as me, so they understand my problems or struggles. And as we have a wide variety of engineering skills, I can also learn from the other members, so this is interesting.
- QA word for those who want to work in Japan
- AThis is a great chance, so give it a shot! If you have any problems or issues, you can get advice from the Human Resocia staff members or other GIT members, so you’ll be okay. Please come and work as engineer in Japan! Let’s enjoy Japan together!
